Palo Azul is native to Mexico and South America and can be found in Arizona and New Mexico. Mexican herbalists and healers have been using the leaves and bark of this tree for hundreds of years. Palo Azul's scientific name is Eysenhardtia polystachya; it is also known by the names Palo Dulce, Kidney Wood, and Blue Stick.

Wood chunks or leafy branches are either boiled in hot water or steeped in cold water to make tea.

When the pieces of wood are soaked in water for a few hours, they give the water a blue color (hence one of the common names for the plant, “blue stick”). This color can later change to a reddish or amber tone, depending on the incidence of light. Spanish doctors of the sixteenth century were the first Europeans to notice the intense fluorescent blue coloration of this plant. This interesting phenomenon is due to a novel four-ring chemical compound known as tetrahydromethanebenzofuro[2,3-d]oxazine, which is not found in the intact plant, but rather is the end product of an unusual spontaneous oxidation chemical reaction. , which involves some of the natural plant compounds known as flavonoids (Acuña et al., 2009; Berdonces, 2009; Mabberley, 2008; Martínez, 1989).

Benefits: Used as a daily tea and to assist with the kidneys and detoxification. This tea has done wonders for many of our clients who suffer from gout and illnesses related to the kidney, liver, reproductive system, stomach, and more.

This tea can be enjoyed both hot and iced and is consumed without adding sugar. Please do not add sugar due to the sugar being refined and at a pH level of 4.5, which isn't good for the palo azul tea since it has to remain at a pH of 7.

When receiving the bag(s), please store your tea in a glass jar to keep it fresh.

To Prepare: Use a pot and add 36 ounces to one stick of Palo Azul; if the stick is thicker, add double the water. To treat a condition, add two sticks of preferred spring water.  Do not use tap water that contains fluoride or chlorine.

Instructions will be included for you to make your healthy tea

Please note: You must drink plenty of water throughout the day as this tea is a natural diuretic. It is not recommended for lactating women or pregnant women, although it is natural.

The tea comes with instructions, a QR code, and more information.

I will only buy from them!

Thank you Delilah for meeting me locally to pick up Palo Azul. I have bought it at many stores and I get small pieces and if I have bought on Amazon it’s poor quality. This young lady is very knowledgeable and a humble woman that genuinely wants to see you be health. Gracias mija may god always bless your path.
