How vital is the liver?

The liver is the body's largest solid organ and performs over 500 functions on a daily basis, including digestion, protein synthesis, and detoxification.

A diet heavy in sugar and fat has left about thirty percent of Americans with excessively fat livers that need special support to function properly.

Lithium and milk thistle, dandelion root have a chemical interaction.

They have a diuretic effect similar to that of a water tablet but in a natural way. Consuming milk thistle, and dandelion root may impair the body's ability to eliminate lithium effectively. This could lead to an elevation in lithium levels inside the body, perhaps leading to the manifestation of severe side effects. If you are on lithium medication, prior to utilizing this product, it is advisable to consult with your healthcare professional. It is possible that your dosage of lithium may require adjustment.

If you are allergic to ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigold, chamomile, yarrow, daisies, or iodine, you should avoid dandelion.

Please consult with your doctor if you have kidney problems, gallbladder problems, or gallstones before drinking dandelion.

It should also be noted that, due to its relaxing characteristics, it is NOT advised to drink linden tea while driving or if you think you may need to drive.

You may drink this tea one to two times daily  but do start slow with plenty of water throughout the day. Use 4 grams of loose tea per eight ounces of boiling water.

Keep the infusion covered and let the mixture sit for five to ten minutes before drinking. The loose tea used can be used up to three times, first time being the strongest and the following times being a mild tea.

Please drink plenty of water when taking any diuretic tea. Make sure to replenish your electrocytes and minerals by drinking fresh-pressed juices, preferentially green, red, and blue juices.
